The Curious Case of the Woman in White

The sequel to The Curious Life of Ada Baker, starts a few months on from the original novel, in August. Ada is enjoying an evening at her friend Jian's, during The Hungry Ghost Festival. A murder happens that very night, in the normally sleepy town of Sudfield, when a man is attacked by a mysterious, floating woman in white. Ada is dragged in to investigating the death by her friend DI David Matlock.
Meanwhile, a young woman is murdered in a ritualistic way, similar to the murder that Inspector Jolly was investigating a few years previously, before he died. David realises that there's a new serial killer in town, and somehow, it seems to be connected to Inspector Jolly's death.
To make matters worse. Ada's former stalker, William Kent, is back on the scene, but since his recent death, he doesn't need to sleep...
Will Ada survive in this thrilling sequel to The Curious Life of Ada Baker?
This book has taken me a while to write and produce as I'm now an indie author. That means taking on a lot more roles in producing the book. It's still been copy edited & proof read by Richard Sheehan, and Haz of Haz John Art has again made me a wonderful cover.
The idea for the book wasn't fully formed like the first book, but rather, it grew in stages and edits. I have learned to love the editing process over this book and I owe a lot to my friend and fellow author, Helen JR Bruce, who has shared her skills with me. I used to think editing was the boring bit, but now I think it's quite fun!
It's available to buy from Amazon, as an eBook or paperback.
Hopefully, book three won't be so long in the offing!
